Hello, all members.
As many of you know, I've been running GBATMW for 4 years now. I like to think I've done an OK job, although we haven't been without considerable problems (mostly out of my control).
After recent activity against sites that operate in a similar way to ours, I have come to the conclusion that I am not comfortable running this site any more. Unfortunately I am the name at the top, and basically it boils down to the fact that I don’t want to have legal problems. I haven't engaged in any copyright infringement through this site (I don't even watch DPG videos), but the trend seems to be to go after the admins of sites like this.
I don’t want to see the site disappear completely. I like the community, I enjoy running it (apart from the potential trouble I could get in). Over the next week, I'm going to work to seperate everything from the media boards out into a seperate database. I'll release that (scrubbed of personal details) to the community. If people choose to rehost that, then they're welcome to. I'll continue to host the discussion site, and I will give support to anyone who chooses to host the released database.
While I am happy to continue running this site in a discussion-only format, I'm sure that's not why most of you are here. I am open for suggestions regarding transferring ownership to someone else. Unfortunately I'm not aware of anyone in the community who has the time, skills and financial ability to keep the site running. I don't want to see the site die completely, which is why I'm hesitant to transfer ownership to anyone.
I'd appreciate any thoughts you have on this matter.
Thanks,
Leo

WHA?!? K_GATOR'S DOIN' NEWS? WELL I'LL BE, PRAISE THA LAWD!
(Although I was sorely tempted by the Mean Girls box art.)
So, basically this week there's a load a crap. I've taken the time to sift through all this crap, and tell you that the only nuggets to be found in this humongous pile of stool are Mario Tennis, Jett Rocket, Tetris, and the LEGO Harry Potter compilations. Oh, and the new "Tiger Woods" game, where you can use your wood to either play 9 ho's or 18 ho's.
Also, I haven't posted the DSi games. I glanced at them, and I'll post them if anybody really wants me to, but I don't feel like sifting through more fecal matter, as I just washed my hands.
